Product Description
DURA-COAT is a penetrating surface sealer designed for treating most interior/exterior wood, primed metal and concrete. Ultra-tough, it penetrates wood providing resistance to wear, warping, shrinking and checking. DURA-COAT is ideal as a sealer for bare concrete floors to prevent concrete dusting.
New concrete should age at least 30 days before painting. Concrete that is smooth troweled or suspected of treatment with chemical “de-icers” must be etched with diluted muriatic acid and rinsed thoroughly before painting. Glossy surfaces should be scruff sanded to promote adhesion. This product should not be used on bare exterior wood but can be used on bare interior wood.

Directions for Use
APPLICATION & CLEAN-UP: Mix well and apply by brush, roller, or spray at an average spreading rate of 350-400 sq. ft. per gallon. Square foot averages may vary depending upon surface texture and porosity. Thinning is not recommended; use small amounts of clean water only if necessary. This product is dry to walk on or recoat in 12 hours under normal conditions. Heavy traffic areas should be allowed to dry for at least 24 hours before being used. Cool temperatures, high humidity, poor ventilation, or heavy film thicknesses will extend drying times. Clean up equipment immediately after use with soap and water, rinse and dry for storage.
Do not paint when air or surface temperature will be below 50°F. within 24 hours of application or on surfaces hot from direct afternoon sun.
Do not paint if rain is imminent. Do not mix with oil colors, other paints or solvents. DURA-COAT is not designed for vehicular traffic or for areas of ponding water or underwater services.
COVERAGE: 400 sq. ft./gal. (Depending upon the porosity of the substrate).
