ICE OUT with CMA (Calcium Magnesium Acetate) is formulated using Quadramax Technology, providing maximum product performance and safety. Quadramax places ICE OUT with CMA in a class above the rest. ICE OUT with CMA offers a high-quality blended buffer system treated with non-corrosive glycol to enhance performance. When other deicers stop working, ICE OUT with CMA will still provide added safety for your walkway and surrounding areas. ICE OUT is less corrosive than most widely used deicers and is safer for the environment. This product is fast acting and provides immediate traction. ICE OUT is colored Blue to help prevent over application, ensuring total coverage, thus making it a complete ice control agent. Spread prior to snowfall as a pre-treatment to make shoveling easier and will continue to work down below zero.

Directions for Use
Spread ICE OUT lightly and evenly over icy surfaces. If the snow is more than 2 inches deep, plow or shovel it first, then apply ICE OUT to melt the remaining snow or ice. Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 cup (4 to 8 ounces) per square yard. DO NOT OVERAPPLY. As the ice and snow melt, remove the slush and water immediately to prevent the surface from refreezing. Big storm on the way? As it snows, spread ICE OUT on the areas you intend to clear once the storm stops. This will make shoveling easier and help prevent ice formation.
NOTICE: Use rubber gloves, a spreader or a scoop to spread ICE OUT lightly and evenly over ice and snow covered surfaces. As with deicers, use only on properly placed and cured concrete. Do not use on porous or improperly cured concrete or on concrete less than two years old. Use of deicers on porous brick, mortar joints and flagstone are not recommended. A combination of factors, including age of concrete, quality mixing, air entertainment and proper curing will affect the durability of the concrete, and in turn may facilitate or reduce the freeze/thaw cycle effect. New and/or poor-quality concrete is more susceptible to such damage. However, light application of ICE OUT followed by removal of ice, snow and slush will lessen the possibility of damage. All deicers can be harmful when applied directly to trees, shrubs, flower beds or grass. Remove any melted ice, snow and slush away from vegetation areas. Ice melting agents applied at much greater rates than recommended may interfere with traction or footing.
